 I am trying to find a way to guide my guests in the direction for wedding attire for our beach wedding in Florida.  I don't really care what everyone wears, but we are getting asked what is appropriate repeatedly.  I have just been telling guests sundresses for the ladies and kahkis for the men.  Is there a way I could convey this on our wedding website, so people will stop asking us without making it sound like I am dictating what the guests wear?

The article mentions "Beach Formal," which suggests men wear a summer suit, but not a tie.  If you don't care if the men wear jackets, you could say "Beach Casual"

 we sent our guests our wedding announcement and included small squares of fabric for the colors for the wedding and asked all guys to wear white shirts and tan shorts and asked the women to wear something sangria-a sundress.  Both were asked to be bear foot or flip flops.  Stopped them from asking and gave them something to plan to be a part of our wedding.  We aren't having bridesmaids or groomsmen, we have just invited a few couples to join us in Belize!
